Giovanni's
You can't eat pizza all the time, right? Go to Giovanni's. Giovanni's is one of my favorite places, but if you're on a budget you may not want to go very often. I suggest you make reservations also, since it's a fairly small place.
One of the dishes to take note of is the Farfalline del Presidente Reagan, which was created for President Ronald Reagan on a visit there in the early 80's. I believe they also have a dish they created for Oprah.
Don't pass up the costoletto di vitello al tartufo nero, which, even if you don't speak italian you can figure out that it's veal with black truffle sauce. Very cool.
